2005 Summer Reading Program

About the HAISLN Recommended Reading List

The Awty International School reading lists serve as a guide for students entering Grade 1 through Grade 5 who wish to participate in the Summer Reading program. Children in Grade 1 may have the books read to them.

Record books read on the form. If additional space is needed to record more books, please use the back of the form. More pages may be added if necessary. If your child is participating in another reading program, the book may be counted for both programs. However, please note: Required Summer Reading titles are not to be counted as part of this program.

The parent's signature will indicate that the student has read the book during the summer of 2005 and that it is appropriate for the reader's grade level and ability.

Students should return the form to their teacher during the first week of school in August 2005

Each student who reads at least 10 books during the summer will receive a certificate. Each student who reads at least 20 books during the summer will receive a certificate and have lunch with Dr. Watson.
